My name is Ashley Davidson and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I have been playing basketball since I was 11 years old. I attended Newman Smith High School from 1998-2002 where I played varsity basketball all four years. I started training with Deon Hunter in Junior High, and came back to Hoop Hunter Basketball in my junior and senior years of high school. I received a basketball scholarship to Odessa College where I played two years. My junior year in college I received a basketball scholarship to Eatern New Mexico University and graduated in December 2006 with a major in Community Physical Education and minor in Criminal Justice. I will attend graduate school this summer and plan to get my masters degree in Exercise and Sport Nutrition. I am currently working a t a local gym as a personal trainer and plan to become a strength and conditioning coach for athletes after I receive my masters. I have been involved with Hoop Hunter Basketball for many years and I am very excited about the opportunity to work with young people who are passionate and enthusiastic about the game of basketball.
WHAT DEON HAS TO SAY ABOUT ASHLEY
It's so nice to be able to see players who originally started their training with our organization grow up and then want to come and give back to others. "A.D., " as she's called, is a true competitive basketball player. She brings a wealth of talent to our training staff. She played point guard and shooting guard in high school and college. She likes working with experienced, as well as inexperienced players. She doesn't have an age group preference. A.D. believes personal fitness training is important to maximizing one's performance. During her college days, she provided personal fitness training to college students. If you are a guard and you want to improve your game, don't hesitate to team up with A.D. for your personal training needs. She's ready... are you?
