I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Dallas, Texas. I started playing the game I love at the age of 5. I played basketball through junior high in all 5 positions and went on to play at Berkner High School in Richardson as a power forward/wing before transferring to Lakeview Centennial in Garland and sitting out the rest of my senior year. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology and began my coaching career at Denton High School immediately right after. I am currently getting my Masters in Education and hope to graduate in 2011.
Coaching and teaching is my ministry. I am in constant pursuit of perfection and I coach with that same attitude. My passion is to help guide kids in the ways of the Lord and to assist them in seeking their purpose in life. I enjoy working with kids of all sizes and developing them into upright young men or women. I have a wife, Courtney and a son named Zion. I pray that I will be blessed to one day coach my son, Zion.
Favorite Verse:
Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10 (AKJ)
What Deon has to say about Coach Ngwolo
“Coach Ngwolo is very passionate about the development of kids from the spiritual, mental and physical realm. He continues to impress me when it comes to his readiness and preparedness. He’s very enthusiastic and demanding yet patient with kids. He’s capable of teaching beginners or advanced players. He will give your child everything he’s got while believing in them at the same time. With him, your child’s self confidence, attitude and family values matters.”
“He enjoys coaching high school sports.”
