My name is Courtney Ngwolo and I am from Keller, Texas. My years in basketball started in the seventh grade on up to my senior year of high school finishing at Fossil Ridge High school. I played the guard position, where I was praised for my shooting ability and sound fundamentals. I helped my Varsity team 2 consecutive years make it to the playoffs and place in the top three in district 5-5A. I played consecutively year round on various AAU and BCI select teams where I was constantly challenged to take my game to the next level. I learned so much from the game. Not only did I learn fundamentals, I learned discipline and confidence too. I went on to study at The University of Texas at Arlington and graduated in 2009 with a B.S in Exercise Science where I learned how the body works and what it takes to function. I am certified Generalist 4-8 where I am pursing to teach 6th grade science, and coach middle school basketball. I enjoy coaching young minds because I see myself in them. I understand what it takes to be successful as an athlete and as an individual. I love to use the game as a fellowship mechanism for players with common interest where they can come together and be encouraged by one another. I believe if God blesses you with a gift and an able mind it is your responsibility to use it. I am so grateful to my parents for my upbringing in ongoing Christian fellowship and how they continued to encourage me and instill the right morals and values, and I want to share the same things with the athletes I encounter. I am a wife and mother which I believe is the best gift I have ever received. My husband (who is also a fellow Hoop Hunter trainer) and I enjoy being able to share the time on the court and having time to expose our son Zion to the game early. I believe that I can help train every athlete in the game of basketball as well as equip them with the tools to become strong leaders in Christ on and off the court.

What Deon has to say about Coach Courtney Ngwolo
“She’s patient, detailed, a creative thinker, well-prepared and committed to the full development of the player-person. Courtney enjoys learning more about the game and she’s always looking for ways to better enhance the player’s game and her teaching. She’s a very high energy & spirited person, mother and wife with high moral character. She won’t stop until your child has reached their fullest potential. She believes that before a person can advance their game, they need to sure up their fundamentals. Her main focus and emphasis will be teaching guard and perimeter play. Courtney enjoys teaching the little ones ages 1st grade through high school.”
