Lawrence Agu, III started playing basketball when he was in the 5th grade. He attended high school at Colleyville Heritage where he lettered for 3 years. During his Junior year at CHHS he helped his team reach the regional finals but fell 1 game short from the state tournament in Austin. He earned the Dale Hansen's Student-Athlete of the week and was nominated for the Wendy's Heisman Athlete Award during his time in high school. After graduating high school in 2005, Lawrence attended Baylor University for a year, then transferred to The University of Texas at Arlington, to acquire his B.S. in Architecture in 2011. Currently, he is a graduate student at UTA working on dual Master's degrees, one in Architecture and the other in City and Regional Planning.
Though basketball and architecture are passions of his, they all fall under the greater passion of giving glory to God because of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for all. Putting this in perspective gives Lawrence the ability to fully dedicate himself to being the best that he can be in all that he does, with the mentality that all of life is worship to God.
