Len Medcafe has been playing basketball for as long as he can remember. In 2003, he attended and graduated from Denton Ryan High School. A few of his accomplishments are as follows: 3-year letterman on Varsity; 2nd team All-District as a Junior; then improved to 1st team All-District his senior year. After graduating, Len went on to play at North Lake Community College for 2 seasons and helped lead his team in back-to-back regular season conference championships and he also received an Associates Degree.

Len is currently attending the University of North Texas and pursuing a B.A. degree in Business Management. Upon graduating college, his goal is to become a highly outstanding high school basketball coach. Len is a firm believer that hard work truly does pay off. He is very excited to work with players who are eager to work on their skills and become better people both on and off the court.

WHAT DEON HAS TO SAY ABOUT LEN

Len began training with Hoop Hunter Basketball when he was in middle school. As a kid, he attended several camps and clinics. Len is currently one of our outstanding Club Team coaches and is very well-liked and respected by his team members as well as the parents. I am tremendously proud of his character, love for kids, love for teaching the game, and above all, his devotion to excellence. Len is capable of training boys or girls of all ages and all positions. He is very patient and enjoys the impact that coaches can have on kids when they totally believe in the game. Len’s ready train - are you ready to play?
