My name is Erin Brumley, from Fort Worth, TX. I trained at Hoop Hunter through middle and high school where I increased my basketball knowledge and developed a passion for the game.
Being home schooled throughout middle and high school allowed me to be in the gym more often! I led my high school team, all four years, at the point guard position.
We achieved three All-State titles and I received a 2017 All-American title in the home school division. After having to take my medical red shirt at San Jacinto College for the ’17-’18 season, I will be heading to Temple College in the fall to continue competing in the game I love and while earning an education. (Go Lady Leopards!)
I love the heart behind Hoop Hunter and am so excited to work here! My goal is to help every kid grow in their love and knowledge of the game as well as their love for Christ, because a relationship with Him is the most important thing to chase after.
I want to give back to Hoop Hunter, where I developed into the player I am and enabled me to compete at a high level. To be able to share my knowledge and experience with the next generation of athletes is both an honor and a trademark in the Hoop Hunter organization.
What deon says...
My heart was filled with joy when I first knew that I had the opportunity to bring Erin on staff as a trainer. I had the pleasure of training Erin throughout her middle, high school & college career.
Erin is a hard-working, self-driven and self-disciplined person. Her positive, upbeat, competitive and patient attitude is contagious. She’s very comfortable teaching all positions (point guard, guard, wing, small forward, post). Erin believes that the mental attitude of players is equally as important as the physical play of the player. She believes that the size of a player isn't what matters most but their willingness to practice and put in the work so that when the lights come on they're ready to play.
Erin is a Christ-centered young lady who loves the lord, her family and HHB. What I like most about her is that she's one of the hardest working young ladies I've ever trained & mentored.
