My name is Charlie Brown, originally from Joplin, MO. I've recently moved to the DFW area, and I am looking to grow as a person, and skills trainer. In high school I was a four-year varsity starter, two-time all-state player, and four-year all conference player. I played AAU basketball for the prestigious Nike MOKAN Elite Program.

After high school I spent two years at Missouri Southern State University playing under Kansas University legend, Jeff Boschee. As a sophomore I received MIAA All-Conference Honors. I then spent my last two years at Minnesota State University, as a senior I was voted team caption, first-team NSIC All-Conference, NABC First Team All-Central Region, and played in the NCAA Sweet 16. I was lucky enough to spend two years playing professionally in Germany, before ending my career to move back to the states.

 

I have a strong faith that God leads us on many different paths to become the person we were destined to be. I am glad God has led me to Deon and Hoop Hunter Basketball, I look forward to being a positive mentor and making a huge impact on our students not only as basketball players but as human beings. I will push your child to be the best version of themselves and teach them to use basketball as a tool to navigate through life and show them how this beautiful game, along with God has changed my life for the better, and with the core value we teach at Hoop Hunter I hope to be a light in their lives.
