Join Deon as he teaches and demonstrates the Fundamentals of Basketball in a thorough and motivating manner to student-athletes who are serious about learning the necessary skills needed to play competitive and/or semi-competitive basketball.
In this weekly class, players will be given instructions on why, how & when to use each skill. Players will get an opportunity to practice those skills during each session while also being corrected and encouraged as they grow and develop. They will be asked to pay close attention and will be encouraged to develop and maintain good discipline work habits. On occasions players will be given handouts and will be asked to practice at least 20 to 30 min. a day (3-5 days a week).
Players will be expected to make weekly practices.
Make-ups for missing a class aren’t offered! If a player who joins this training class gets behind (learning the skills being taught), we will recommend that they seek private training sessions, so they are able to catch up. Additional fees will be required for private training services.
* When we allow boys and girls to participate in the same event, our goal is to have the girls work with other girls and boys with boys if at all possible but please note that we wouldn’t do anything to negotiate the safety and welfare of either gender. All players must bring their own basketball.
* If you prefer more personal attention, please consider signing up private or small group training sessions.
