Hi, I ‘m Blake Petter. Currently I play basketball for Argyle High School. I’m a Senior and have been on the Argyle varsity team since I was a Sophomore.
I have always played basketball, even before grade school. I have been a part of the HHB family since I was in the 5th or 6th grade and have been trained and played on the select AAU team.
I may not be the tallest basketball player, but I’ve always believed in this quote. “It’s not about the size of the dog in the fight, but it’s about the size of the fight in the dog.” Meaning that size doesn’t matter and if you out work or out fight your opponent you will come out on top. I look forward to instilling my love of the game and my fight as I train and coach other players at Hoop Hunter Basketball.
What deon says...
I love this kid. Blake's a talented, hard working, high energy player and trainer. He's very disciplined and self driven. He's smart, competitive and he knows what type of training it takes to improve your basic and/or advance fundamental skills.
I've had the luxury of training him for 7+ years and I can attest to the fact that he's a well rounded, high basketball IQ kind of guy that can work with & motivate any type of player (g or b) who has a desire to learn. On of my most favorite memories of Blake is when (a couple of years ago) he got baptized in his back yard swimming pool. That was a fun and exciting event to watch.
If you have a young (beginner-new to basketball) player who needs to learn the basics of the game, he can do that; if you have a high energy player who has good work habits and a good motor, Blake is your guy!
